Simple No-Carve Halloween Pumpkin Ideas

Carving is the worst. Its messy, sticky, and so hard to get it right. But just because carving is hard doesn’t mean you should skip the Halloween decorations. Here are three quick no-carve pumpkin ideas to try this Halloween.

Glitter accents: a shimmered pumpkin may be too much glitter, but try creating a pumpkin with glitter accents like dots or strips.

Googly eyes: paint your pumpkin black and then purchase large googly eyes that you can glue to the front. The pumpkin might not be scary, but it will look funny.

Paint: get a chevron or other template and paint fun geometric designs into your pump. Again, it might not be scary, but it will look great in your apartment.

Mimosas: You gotta have a few drinks at a brunch. Instead of individually serving mimosas, create a station instead. Grab a large container and mix the champagne and orange juice before hand and let your guest serve themselves. If you’re tired of the same, old recipe, here are some interesting and quirky mimosa recipes for you to try out!

Crock Pot: Planning a brunch can be busy. So find a crock pot brunch recipe like these here and set your food on and walk away, knowing that your food is literally cooking itself while you’re free to do other things to prepare for the day.

Two Tvs: If you and your friends are real football junkies the odds are that you’re sure to have some discover on what to watch. That’s why when you’re planning a football brunch you need two tvs. Put one in the kitchen and another in the living room. Chances are your guest will want to watch different games so stop the arguing about what to watch before it even starts.

Most important to planning an NFL brunch? Have fun and watch football!

Airline Travel Hacks For Your Next Trip

Airline travel can be the toughest part of taking a trip. Booking flights, standing in line and sitting in a tight seat is something few people look forward to. If you have a trip coming up where you will be flying, here are three travel hacks to try.

Clear Cookies: travel sites typically charge more for repeat users and people who visit the website more often. When you are ready to buy a plane ticket, clear your cookies and expect to see a lower price.

24 Hour Window: most people might not realize that even nonrefundable flights have a 24-hour window to get a refund. So if you book a flight then change your mind or find a lower price somewhere else, feel free to get a refund.

Book two one-way flights: many times booking two one-way flights from different airlines will net you’re a cheaper rate. Some travel sites already do this, but just be sure to check around before booking.
